Sharwin Boney is President and Chief Financial Officer of BoneFide Development & Investment Group, Inc., the parent company of BoneFide Tax Resolution and Tax Service Express located in Hoston, Texas.

After receiving her bachelor's degree in Accounting, Sharwin began her career working in corporate America. In 1997, after several successful years, she left corporate America, with a desire to be her own boss and satisfy her entrepreneurial passion.

She formed the company, Services that Work, with the focus of providing real-solutions to individuals and businesses, primarily in the area of bookkeeping, entity set up and tax needs.

Due to overwhelming demand, the company grew from a home-based business to expanding to several locations, including an established partnership with one of the nation's largest grocery store chains. Because of Sharwin's trusted nature, experience and invaluable insight into financial matters, BoneFide began offering CFO/Controller services that handles all functions of an in-house finance department. Services like bookkeeping, payroll, income and corporate taxes, business development became major components of Bonefide's service offering.

With a necessary full-service approach, Bonefide began to expand service offerings to tax resolution for companies that were encountering IRS issues. With tax compliance being a significant part of any companies firm foundation, IRS Tax resolution became key.

Today, under the umbrella of BoneFide, managing $15 million in client revenue, Sharwin oversees the day-to-day financial operations, project management, fiscal and key internal aspects of client companies that have joined the BoneFide family. Her oversight and development of key company financial and operational metrics has successfully aided in establishing on-site & virtual accounting offices across Houston that work. She holds an accounting degree. She is a licensed real estate broker and an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Sharwin was honored as "Top 25 Women in Houston" by Rolling Out Magazine and given a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by U.S. Congressman Al Green for being a Leader and Example, due to her success in business and mentoring. Sharwin has been married for 25 years and has 3 children.
